Default Replacement Tires

Looking for replacement tires for my 2004 S2000. Live in Connecticut and garage the car in the winter when they salt the roads (Dec-March). Looking for a 3 season tire. Doesn't have to be crazy performance - but want a solid handling tire for CT's two lane roads and S-turns. Thank you.

It would depend on price and how high a performance tire you want. If you want a good tire with a little better tread life and ride quality I would look at the Bridgestone RE760 Sport. They still handle well but they give you the other things with good wet traction as well. Anothe rsimilar tire would be the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo 2. If you go up the scale in performance and price I would look at the Bridgestone S04 Pole Position or the Michelin Pilot Super Sport.
If I can help let me know.

Michelin Pilot Super Sport is always the answer.

Thank you. Heard they are the best. If we went down a notch in price - anything you might suggest.

If you don't do any track days then I'd go with the Continental ExtremeContact DW tires. They get good wear and they have a little softer sidewall so they soak up some of the bumps that you run into on the street. I have tried four different sets of tires on our S and I like the DW the best so far for the street. Snow is one thing that the DW tire will not do at all.

I can't think of anything cheaper in price that I would buy.
