The actual size of the OEM is 8.5"

The actual size of the S03 is 9.1" in the 245/45 size

As you can see that isn't even close to the exact size of the OEM

This information conflicts with the rest of the thread. The S03 is 14mm Narrower than the Stock S02 tires in the rear.

I just put S-03's on last night in the sizes that SilverStreak is proposing.

Front - 205/55/16
Rear - 245/45/16

I'm happy so far, definitely quieter and rides smoother. My rears were really worn, so I think anything would have better traction, but it's been raining heavily since I put them on and I've not been able to make them lose traction yet (I haven't tried anything really radical either).

For a tire recommendation I would need to know what kind of tire you are looking for. You mention longer wear but do you need some snow traction? Are you a real aggressive driver or are you looking for the best deal on a good tire?
Let me know and I can direct you to a good tire for your needs.
Thank you

I don't care which tire you like, I was referring to getting the most life out of it. And wear generated by monsterous corner speeds is quite acceptable. But wear generated by poor wheel alignment is not.

OK, now that we seem to have the size figured out, let's talk about pressure.

YThose of you with S-03's and Jim from TireRack (and anybody else who want's to give their 2 cents):

Honda's user manual says 32psi I think for all 4 tires. Max infaltion on the S-03 is 51psi I'm told. A knowledgeable friend tells me I should put 51psi in. I'm sort of inclined to drop to 45psi. What do you all think?

I think your friend is not to knowledgeable. You should run the OE air pressures for the car. The Air pressure is based on the car and not the tire.
If I can help let me know.
Thak you
