Default Reverse Mount 18" Work Meister?

My buddy is selling a set of 18" Work Meisters. Fronts are 18"x8.5" +43 and the rears are 18"x9.5" +49... I know some wheels can be reverse mounted in order to lower the offset. Can these be reverse mounted? How exactly do you go about reverse mounting them? Just flip the barrels around? What would they be once they are reverse mounted?

I would like to know because I think I'm gonna buy them off of him, but plan on doing rear over fenders, and asm front fenders in the future, and don't really wanna have to sell these wheels and find more aggressive ones later on.

Thanks.

It's going to lower the offset to absolutely ridiculous levels, as shown. Besides, the inside "lip" of the wheel usually is not polished so it won't look very good.

Kind of pointless outside of just an exercise to prove it can be done.

"Reverse" mounting LMs doesn't mean what you think it means at all. As LMs are a 2 piece wheels, the face comes mounted on the front from the factory. All reversing means is instead of mounting the face on top of the barrel, they mount it from the back, which lowers the offset slightly (maybe 15mm?)

Meisters are already rear mounted from the factory.

I should mention though, the nice thing about 3 piece Meisters is that you can piece together your own. So down the line should you add those wider fenders, you can split the wheel and add a bigger lip or wider barrel.

Ya I think I'm gonna go ahead and grab them, and if I have to later on just order new lips. Thanks for the help guys I appreciate it!
