Default rims mounted...

so i got the rims mounted on the s2000 today. 17x7 +39 on 225/45/17 tires and the rears 17x9 +43 on 255/40/17 tires....and i was disappointed. =( the rears look way too "chunky" and i kinda want to switch back to a 245 tire. someone suggested getting a bit more negative camber so the wheel is a bit more tucked in the rear...i know the rear setup is pretty common but why does it look so damn ugly on my car?

any other suggestions??

i mean it can be all in my head too because the rears are lightly concaved..i dunno...ARGH!

They look okay to me. Do you have more pictures in the daylight? Could be the height of the car too.

It might be your tire choice.

for example, most bridgestones have nice sidewalls as so do Azenis RT615 and they look "better", another issue is tires are not always the same dimensions, just because they are both 255/40s doesnt mean they are the same.

Advice: drop the car a bit and add some negative camber.
