thanx for all the info, its much appreshiated. i guess 255s are off the cards then. did u have the fronts rolled aswell? i emailed a company today and they said that they cant do the fronts. i wanted to run a 225 on the front but im not sure how a 225 on the front and a 245 on the rear will look. how much space did you have with a 245 on the front?
I had all 4 rolled, and it wasn't an aggressive roll at all. the fronts clear easily. I'm a fan of a square set up, but if you want to go staggered, its just a matter of preference.
so you didnt have any problems with the fronts rubbing? dont forget the roads over here are no where near as nice as yours

i wish i could see this setup before i decided what to do. i could always order two 245's get them fitted to the front and see what i think. if i like them order another pair of 245's and if i dont like them, order a set of 225's

also when you said the rears rubbed slightly at the rear, was that with ot without the 5mm spacers fitted?

Front never rubbed on bumps, dips, inclines whatever lol. I would do what you just mentioned above, just test fit it and see how you like it. Yea it was without the spacers. Pretty sure I only rubbed because I didnt cut the tab enough, or else i would of been fine

This is the reply I have received from the arch rolling company

"The fronts give a tiny gain and the construction of them makes them likely to distort, and the arch liner doesn't lend itself to this and needs major surgery, all in it’s a nasty job, and you don't get a good return."

I’m hoping that if you didn’t have any problems on the front, if I run a 225 without rolling the arch I won’t have any problems. BUT First off I will try the 245 and check clearance.

What sort of improvement did you find with the 245’s? I know it’s a personal choice but how did it affect driving? Did it make the steering heaver, better feedback in steering, more over steer, more controllable over steer etc?

I just like how nasty a square set up looks with beefy tires up front. It feels A LOT more planted on the road, kinda of hard to describe but on the highway it feels like my wheels are sticking out like an F1 car lol. Definitely more grip turning in. Steering is a litter heavier but I like it. And I never drove it hard enough street/track wise to see a difference in over/under steer

I will have to get some better pictures when the sun is out. It's been raining here in PA on and off.

is this the +42 set up on a stock suspension?

ive been looking at some rotas but dont really want to mess with the suspension or have to roll the fenders...

are those 17s?
you are correct. 17x9 +42 on stock suspension. And you can still lower your car without rolling your fenders. How much is the question though.

has this question be answered yet?

also do your wheels stick out past the arch at all. not aloud tyre tread to be outside of the arch in the uk

That's +10 mm front fenders? Wow so do they stick out a lot with standard fenders? What sort of camber are you running?

Also are you still running standard suspension and do you rub at all?
