Default RPF1 +45s protruding

Hi folks.

I know, I know - ANOTHER "will it fit?" question - NOPE. I know the RPF1s will allow for 245/255 square setup but my big question due to the time attack rules I'm restricted to state:

"The widest point of the tire, above the axle, does not protrude more than 13mm (0.5”) from the widest point of the OE wheel well opening when measured in a vertical plane coincident with the axle line."

My question is, with the RPF1 and my front and rear camber of -3.2 and -2.5 respectively, will I have issues squeezing a 245 front and 255 rear? Pretty sure the rear won't have any issues but the front is highly questionable. Tires in question are the Hankook RS4s, Yoko A052s and Bridgestone RE71Rs.

Suspension is OEM.

And yes, I know I have to roll but the moment I have to pull, I incur penalties.

Cheers.

That rule as written seems open to interpretation and confusing, so I think it'll be a difficult question to answer with certainty. I believe that the size/offset will poke hugely on an OEM suspension car.

Yeah the front is really the issue but since I have never measured it like this I am not sure. The origin offset bushings could help out here as a way to help avoid pulling the fenders.

I just bought the RPF1s in 17x9 45 offset with RS4 tires for track use. Lowered 1” on coil overs. Back will fit with fender roll and a little neg camber adjustment. I’m really worried about the fronts. Even with a roll and max camber, I’m not sure they’ll fit.

What is the max neg camber achieved on factory adjusters? Any thoughts if it’s going to work or not?

Track weekend 3 weeks away. Got to get this done ASAP.

You're probably going to catch a fender with those wheels eventually. I ran them with -3.75* camber up front with Origin offset fcabs, which add clearance.

Would adjustable control arms up front work?

if you get front roll center adjusters you can go beyond the factory max of -2.2 up to -3.2 and you won't have an issue. if you have 245 tires you should be ok, but 255 in a wide tire like the RS4 and you may have issues at -2.2.

the front RCA is expensive but is so worth it. i made the mistake of going without them at the track at first and wish I got them sooner.

The point of doing it with the offset FCABs is that you pull the top of the tire in, rather than pushing the bottom of the tire out with the RCA
