Default Rubbing

I have 235/45/17's in the rears on 17x9 +35 with rolled rear and tabs relocated. im just tire tucking but im rubbing on bumps. i was wondering if 245/40 would give me a little extra clearance? TIA

245/40 has about a 2/3" smaller diameter (1/3" smaller radius).

I've been fighting a rubbing issue of my own over the past week and I finally broke down and raised the car. Is that possible? It might be the safest thing.

The 245/40R17 would be closer to the correct diameter. The 235/45R17 may be rubbing from the extra height. If it is still rubbibg on the fender you can try some more negative camber.
