Default S-03 losing pressure fast

Hi all,

I currently bought a set of S-03 and mounted them onto the OZ race silver wheels. Everything is fine, until I noticed the car was pulling to the left when I pressed the gas pedal.

I checked the tire pressure. Sure enough the left rear tire had only 11.5 psi in it. Not good. Realizing that I just put 32psi in that tire two days ago. I took it out, inspected it for holes or nails and put water onto the seams and looked for leaks. No visible damage and no visible bubbling. Well, maybe I screwed up.

I then put in 34psi. Start driving for less than 40mins and then the car started pulling to the left again.

I pulled out and checked. The tire had only 18psi in it. That is not cool.

I put more air in, crossed my fingers and drove home.

What is going on? No air leaking under water, but losing air like it is going out of style when driving???

Anybody has similar experience? Feel free to opine. I need help here.

Jim, do you have any idea?

Thanks!

Check that valve stem. It could be a faulty valve stem. Or put some fix-a-flat it should help.

just stop buy a tire shop and have them check to see if the valve in the stem is tight. They take them out to mount the tire and seat the beads. Maybe they didnt tighten it.

Sounds like the valve stem. Don't use the"fix it spray" until you find out what is going on with the tire.

How did you think your car turned out?

Normally I'd agree with you all about the valve stem, but I was there with Thomas when we dismounted the wheel from the car and swabbed the thing with some soapy water. No bubbles from the bead or stem.

Thomas, did you at somepoint wiggle the stem back and forth? I had a tire go down on me because of a crack in the valve stem rubber that opened up only during highway driving.

No, I didn't. Anyway, I took my tire and wheel back to the body shop. The body shop guy is going to send it to the tire shop for to find out why and fix whatever.

I hope they can do it today!
