What would make a tire lose air pressure to the point of being flat when there is no sign of nail, sidewall damage? I have Espelir springs on stock shocks and stock rim/wheels, I also had a sidewall blowout on one of my rears awhile back. I was driving 75mph the tires have 8200 miles on them and have sufficient tread left. I've noticed that the tire is out of round but I'm sure that is because I was driving on it till I could pull over.
I had checked the tire pressure in the am and was at 32 psi, 20 minutes later FLAT?
Any suggestions or info would be greatly appreciated, I'm beginning to fear going on drives in this car.

Scott

P.S. when I got home I put air in the tire and it's holding pressure.

I may have found the problem, when I push (or wiggle) the valve stem air escapes, rapidly I might add. It's fine if it's not moved but when you move it it leaks. But why hasn't this happened until now?

take it off, air up to around 70 psi, dump into the water tank and that'll pretty sure telling your where the leak is from.

check your valve stem. they are weak and will dry up and crack. AZ is a hot place you know.

Based on your comment it sounds like a bad valve stem. Take it in to your favorite tire store and have a new one installed. Be aware that they'll need to dismount the tire to do this.

Thanks for the info, I'll be bringing both fronts in for chrome valve stems. Is this a factory problem/warranty thing do you think?

It is not a warranty problem. I agree and it sounds like a valve stem but I would do a dunk tank test to be sure. Some times you can not see where a nail has punctured a tire. As far as the blow out that doesn't happen all of a sudden either. You loose air pressure, heat builds and then the tire fails. If you had a low pressure monitor you would be able to stop it before it blows out.
