i would drive the S2000 personally.

I take my S2000 on the heavy snow days instead of my F-150 4x4. It's all about the tires.

I can also speak from experience. My S has Blizzak LM22's which are not nearly as good in the snow as the WS50's and it was still better in the snow than our CRV with worn all-seasons.
Really, Woodson? Wow. WS-50s rock, but I haven't been overly impressed with my LM-22s -- I find it easy to get stuck with them with a little glaze on the ground.

I thinm driving in adverse weather is part you, part others out there. you may be fine but what about that 4x4 who thinks he's invincible because he has traction going but non stopping (you're at the light or stop sign)?
Here in NY city I often see SUV's off-road in snow, and they're waiting to be towed

Yep. Went to the mall to get a hair cut after work. No site of snow. Came out and it was white outside. I got my donut with powdered sugar on top. It was good. I'm questioning if my Integra GSR with performance tires would be better to drive than my S2000 equiped with all seasons. My only problem was getting the S2000 moving from a stop. The rear end would swing out and I'd be moving forward with a huge angle going only 5 mph. until I got enough momentum. Personally it was a blast to drive home. I'm tempted to go out for some more.

Hmm, neither option is a good one, breaker... Get real winter tires on one of 'em.

Yeah, WS50's are waaay better than LM22's in the snow, but our roads are bare for much of the winter so I was willing to compromise snow performance for dry road handling. BTW, we have WS50's on the CRV now and it's a beast in the snow!

My son's WRX goes like shit in snow with high performance aftermarket rubber. I don't care if you have 6 wheel drive. It's all about where the rubber meets the road. Any car equipped with WS50's will out perform any car equipped with all season rubber.
