Default Shipping a used Ap2v2 wheel/ tire package?

I never shipped a wheel/tire package before. I know many of us have. Just wanted to see what method everyone is using. The wheels are OEM Ap2v2 wheels with OEM Potenza's in the front, about 30% tread life remaining and in the rear, Star Specs. Almost new. I am shipping them from FL to OH. Just wanted to hear how much it cost u to ship your wheels, so I can get a ballpark figure. I appreciate it.

Actually no probably a little more than that. Figure about 44lbs per package times four packages, so $120-$140. I'd go to the UPS website and get a quote.

i paid 22 dollars per tire, with no rims. and i believe it said it was 44 pounds per wrapped set of 2....so add another 40 pounds per package for the rims and i think it would be about 160 to ship????????

you can get a piece of cardboard, lay it on the face of the wheel, stack the other on top and then get some of that industrial saran wrap and wrap them in packages of two. thats how my tires came on fedex, i was impressed how it worked. pretty sure i have seen the huge saran wrap despenser at the shipping places, you can probably just take them in and wrap them there free of charge since you are using their service

The last time I shipped wheels/tires it was $200+ (don't go by the website estimates!)

My tires were not mounted, so I shrink wrapped the 2 rears together and 2 fronts seperate. I went to a local wheel shop and they were nice enough to give me wheel boxes for free to box up the rims.

Box them up and bring them to UPS/FEDEX for a shipping estimate.....I got burned on shipping using the online calculator (had to eat some shipping costs)

I was quoted close to $500 to ship 4 ap2v2 with tires from california to the east coast. Much further I know, but shipping wheels and tires sucks no matter how far youre shipping. I would guess its going to between 150-200 for you.
