i am lowered on espelir springs with stock ap2 wheels. Basically will the 265 even fit? and would it be worth getting since i dont track my car. Or should i just get a 245 or 255

if u dont track, why would u consider 265? do u drive aggressive? no, then 245. some what, 255. ehh could depend on the tire.

idk i drive kinda spiritedly sometimes and figured i could get a less performancey tire but make it wider and be just as good but cheaper. h

sometimes the tread pattern and compound is more important than the size, especially if it's by only a small margin. But, I personally stick to the stock tiresize.

go with a 255 like the CR does and get a decent tire. like others said, tire type is more important then size. you can have a 315 that sucks for grip, or a 245 that grips like a mofo.

That's a lot of tire to cram onto the stock 8.5" wheel, but it's been done. You're probably putting as much if not more tire on the surface with the 255 than the 265 crammed on a 8.5" rim, plus the 265 is a bit heavier.

255/40/17 on my stock AP2V1 rears, but I'm not lowered.
