not sure yet, i was leaning towards the yokohama s drive since they have a nice treadwear rating seem like a decent tire. Jim from tirerack suggested the Sumitomo something lol i dont remember right now or the Hankook ventus v12 which is what i have now but in a 245 and they are BALD. They didnt last very long either, like maybe 10000 miles tops. Im gonna do a little more review reading over on tirerack and then decide one day this week. Any opinions?

it did what i needed for the most part, pretty grippy but could still be broke loose, once the life is below like 50% the wet traction sucks.

LOL. Grammar "POH-LEECE!" Let's have a spelling, grammar, and syntax police.

The Hankook ventus V12's were not grippy at all. That's a tire you put on a G35, etc. They're for "sporty" cars - not sports cars.

All I am saying is that you are asking for trouble by altering the stock performance of the S. The factory engineered it for a specific ride height and tire size. I have been down the road of lowering springs (espilers) and non stock tire size. I ended up with bad tire wear, rubbing, bottoming out and a blown shock and this was after only 10k miles. You may not have problems right away, but you will down the road. Go read the sticky in the suspension forum. "Lowering springs do absolutely nothing to improve the handling, and will actually diminish handling. They are strictly for looks". It's your money and your ride, just giving you my opinion and experience.

That's not entirely true. You have to have a good understanding of what you're doing...
