I didnt know rotas made it in that offset for our lug pattern. I know they have 17x8+48 5x100 but not 5x114

Don't run the same size wheel / tire all the way around the "S".........if you do it causes a drop in performance.

The car comes from the factiry with front / rear tire sizes staggered to account for the car's tendancy to want to overstear.....thus the reason fo rthe larger tire size in the back.

A +48 for the front is a marginal to poor fitment..........if you choose to go ahead with the purchase...........do not run tire widths in the front wider than 215.......

All in all I guess what I'm saying is that if you care about the cornering stability and handeling performance of your car.......this is probably not the best choice of wheel sizes....it also makes correct tire fitment & maintaining the front / rear stagger difficult to correctly proportion.

yea I didn't know either but if you go to ebay and type in slipstream you'll see a couple of 17 inch rota slipstream in multiple color being auctioned off by a site by www.subydude.com. The wheels were meant for 05 sti which you can see the wheels with this link

if being staggered is the case I saw a list of rota wheels somewhere on honda-tech where a guy was making a group buy on it that said they also have 17x8.5. So should I just get 2(17x8) for the front and 2(17x8.5) for the rear to keep the staggered setup?

Depends on the offset of the 8.5" for the rear............

As you go wider with the wheel.........the offset has to get bigger for correct fitment.

For example: a 17" x 9" with a +62 would be a excellent fit for the rear

+48 is a marginal offset for the S2000.......a +53 would be much better for a 17" x 8" for the fronts......

a +48 on an 8.5" wheel that you might put in the rear would not be desireable........you would get a "swampbuggy" effect

ask SUBZERO on the board what I'm talking about............his +45's hung so far out of the fender wells that he spit tire chunks out while going around corners.
