which snow tires to get?
we got 75 in of snow last yr in annarbor, and i got by w/ allseasons & cable chains.. but this year I want to get some dedicated snow tires.
i cannot decide if i should buy WS50 (hardcore) snow tires, or LM25 ("performance snow") tires. some have said that WS50 are absolutely horrible on dry pavement, but i'd be F##KIn pissed if I get stuck with "performance snow"s.. so what's the real truth, how good/bad are the performance snows in snow/ice, and how $hitty are the WS50s on dry roads?

I would say Ann Arbor would be fine with the LM tires. If you were on the other side of the state the WS50 would be a better choice. I use the WS50 in South Bend, In. and they are squishy but they do what they are suppose to do in the worse conditions.
Give me a call if I can help.
