Default Snow tires otw

I bought some Blizzak Ws60's off tirerack about 5 minutes ago. We'll see how long it takes for me to get them, since my mother technically bought them as part of my Christmas gift so the billing and shipping address don't match. (putting them on AP1 wheels I bought earlier this year)

I know, it's sad that I'm getting tires for christmas, but except for Barnes and Noble Nook that I'm getting as well I don't need anything else .

I made sure to put Jim down as the person I talked to.

And yes, this post served no purpose other than taking 5 minutes out of a really crappy/dull day at work.

Cool man - they're a great dedicated snow tire!

Come on over to this thread and give us your impressions when you get them installed!

Lol, I was thinking, snow tires out-the-window?

I think that's a nice Christmas present!

I want to get a set of Nokian tires for my ap1 wheels. I had them on a different car, and they were way quiter than the hankooks I have now.

The tires arrived yesterday, I have to get them mounted Saturday. I'm not expecting any type of performance out them, just really good snow and ice driving.

We don't get much snow, but what we get tends to melt during the day and freeze solid at night. Makes the morning commute interesting

On my ap1 I had the Dunlops, and while they had decent performance they weren't all that great with the snow and ice mix.

Oh well, I only need snow tires from Jan to about the middle of April.

When we tested them on the ice they out performed a studded tire. Just don't push them hard in the corners in the dry and they will be fine.

Well got to do some snow driving today, and not even broken in they performed great. The only way to get them to break loose was to stick it first and punch it, and they stayed very controllable even then. When I let of the gas they immediately hooked up again.

Stopping was great too. Now I'm worried about the boso's behind me who just slide into intersections cause their tires suck and they are going to fast.

Right now its ice with a thin later of snow on top. Tonight should be interesting when we have several inches

VERY happy with how these are doing in the snow so far.
