Default Some clearance enquiries on 17x9 +45

Hi all, I have been reading a bit on 17x9 +45 setups and I just wanted to get some confirmation from people who are running this wheel measurement with 255/40/17 tires.

17x9 +45 Rear with 255/40/17 tires, > -3.5deg camber/lowered by 45mm or more/rolled fenders(not flared)/relocated bumper tab ---> Will it rub ON/OFF track?

I understand that 17x9 +45 with 255/40/17 fronts will require flaring or 10mm wider fenders? Just a rolled front fender won't clear will it?

Without flaring or pulling of fenders, am I right to say this is just about the maximum 1 can go with stock fenders? Anyone ever cleared 17x9 +40 255/40/17 rears with just rolled stock rear fenders/relocated bumper tab(NO flaring)?

yeah, you can do that,I am going with 17x9+44 with 255/40/17's in the back lowered on Espelirs, I believe all I am going to need is a minor roll and relocating Numper tab

with the fronts you need a slight pull to get them to fit, nothing too crazy

Hmmmm....ok so 17x9 +45 with 255/40/17 fronts, would they require any fender pulling?

But will the 17x9 +40 or +45 with 255s rub on track while cornering on high Gs, or going thru bumps on the circuit? I want to have comfortable clearance on the track...

On the fronts you'll need to pull your fenders/go with +10mm wider fenders I think.

The rears should be fine with your alignment settings, rolled fenders and relocated bumper tabs.

Like others have said the rear is fairly easy to make work. If you don't want to do as much you can go with the 245/40R17 with probably just more negative camber.
If I can help let me know.

You'll be fine. I'm running 9+40 w/255 nonstag. On the front you just need a slight flare. If you're running -2.0+ camber (which you should if you're tracking) even less of a flare is required. Rear you can pull of with just a roll/bumper trim/relocate.
