Default spoon Sw388's?

I have a guy that wants to sell me his 16x7 all around spoon sw388's for a pretty decent price. Problem is....He said they had 225's all around but they could fit 235's on them for the rear especilly. He had them on his s2000 but i cant decide if i should buy because the fitment might be wrong, correct? Dosent the s2k need 7.5 at least and up for the rear ?

Sounds like you have a FWD application.

Spoon SW388s for the S2k come in:

16x7 +35 fronts or 16x7 +45 (for non Spoon caliper fitment)
16x8 +45 rears

but you can get them in a +45 16x7 for a non Spoon caliper application..

You could just go with the 205/55R16 front and the 225/50R16 rear if you want that wheel. I am not sure on the offset but if he had a 225/50R16 all the way around the 205 on the front will be no problem.
If i can help with the tires let me know.

Jim will 225's in the rear reduce handling and stability in my S? Is it worth it, or should i just keep looking for wider wheels?
