Default SSR vs Speed Star

I was reading the latest Sport Compact Car (Nismo R34 )

and I came across an add for a wheel/tire company. They showed the SSR Comps in an SSR section, and on another part of the page, showed the SP1's under a "Speed Star" section.

I thought SSR stood for Speed Star Racing, and that they produced both the Comps and the SP1. Are they two different companies?

Is it sorta like Racing Hart and RH Evolutions where Racing Hart is the imported wheel, and RH EVO is the american importer's own wheel (in this case DAZZ motorport)

what's the scoop?

Same company but the wheels are mfg. differently. The SSR wheels are forged and the Speed Star wheels are cast. That is the main difference between the wheels.
