Hi, I just got my RPF1's and am still on the stock lugnuts. Is it necessary to change to aftermarket conical lugnuts?

 

Yes, factory lugs on aftermarket wheels is a no no.

 

oem nuts are accorn style. U need tappered ones.

its all personal preference, really. it depends on how much you want to spend. there are some tuner lugs that go for 45 dollars. there are others, like project kics or rays, that can go up to 250 or 300, respectively.

 

I´d recommend lugnuts from Emilio (949Racing).
Light, well made, well worth the price.

Get some cheap tapered tuner lugs for 50 bucks that look great an call it a day (thats what i did with my rpf1s).

 

muteki racing sr48 lug nuts are amazing bang for the bucks.
