Wanted to give thanks to TR and Jim. Got some new Sumitomo HTR Z IIIs. The tires look great in person. Nice tread design. After placing the order, I was very surprised to see them arrive the next day. Just had them mounted on my new Work wheels. The shiny stuff on the tires is tire foam that had not dried yet.

 

Lookin' good man. Just ordered the same rubber. Let me know how you like them - I'm still waiting for my rears to give out

 

Thanks. The tires feel pretty darn good at the limit with no howl. After some more miles, I will give a short review. I'm very happy with the tire for the price I paid. TR rocks.

 

i've got 4k on mine and i'm loving these tires. for the performance, price, i don't think there is another max performance tire that even comes close.

i agree with you on the tread design, very similar to RE050, PS2, ContiSportContact 3, where some tires look like caveman drawings (rt615).

 

i love mine as well, just did some autocross and they were doing great! not heating up quickly like the Hoosier A6 user beside me but they were doing fine...it was my first autocross and i was probably 3rd fastest on street tires

 

I have to agree. Great tires so far. Quiet and nice ride quality. Compared to Falken GRBs, RE-01Rs, and s.Drives, I wuold rank these between the RE-01Rs and the s.Drives with the Falken's ranked last. I wouldn't hesitate to get another set.
