Default TE37 Rotas

hey guys I've been looking around for the lightest 16x7 wheels and decided I wanted the Volk TE37s. then my dealer said that I can't get them with the correct offsets from Volk but that Rota can provide me with the same wheels and correct offsets and everything. are they going to be the same wheels or are they going to be heavier and/or lower quality?

they're gonna look roughly the same, as they are replicas.

However, they will be a little bit heavier. Maybe 1-2lbs per wheel heavier? Although I personally feel good about the quality of Rota Wheels. Some may feel otherwise, but for the cost and look, you will be hard pressed to find better.

I don't care much for the look as I do for the weight. if the difference is just 1-2lbs then it's fine I'd much rather save the money and get a final gear!

Sorry, they are not available in proper offset for a S2000 in 16". The Rota Grid did just come out in 17 x 9 +42 which looks promising, nice concave look to it.

I may have been wrong, looks like there is a 7" +40 available. That would work OK but I think the weight difference will be closer to 3 or 4 lbs per wheel compared to a TE37.

so I'd be paying all that money just to save 2lbs per wheel? that doesn't sound like a good deal..

yeah it's for my S. y what's wrong with that? I just don't want to put wider tires than the factory and keep it light

Rota is replica company. Many people hate it and many people likes it. I've seen crack rota wheels and I've heard people saying good quality. There are too many blah blah every online car forums.

They look nice, just because they borrow top company designed.
