Batbait what is it with your assumptions? I have been working with wheels and offsets on this car for the past 5 years (16 and 17inch). Your assumptions are totally incorrect. Better yet in your opinion with a 17x7.5 front and a 17.8.5 rear what is the lowest offset you can use in the front and rear before you rub and of course what size tires and what brand of tires are you going to use? If you can answer this then I would consider some of your points valid. If not than please stop posting information that is not entirely accurate. Thanks!

Anyway S2k_408 I am glad to have helped you in your decision. You cant go wrong. If you plan to upgrade to the 6 pot Endless caliper let me know and I will help you with the correct offsets and size wheels. I will see you down there later this week.

S2K408 -

You'll need to give us a bit more information in order to get a better recommendation.

How are you going to use the car?

If you don't want to compomise ride quality - then 17" is definitely a better choice.

Are you going to drive the car hard or is it going to be an all show kind of ride? Auto-x? Track days? Canyon carving? If you are going to really *drive* then you should go more conservative on your offsets.

If you are set on sideskirts you may want to sacrifice some ride comfort and get 18"s because the 17"s may look a little small.

I've had 17's and 18s. My 18" setup has forced me to roll my rear fenders to clear the tires (18x9.5 +55 265/35/18) I will be replacing the 265s with 255s when it is time to change tires. This is with a -1.6F and -2.6R degrees of camber.

The car has had some inner fender liner rubbing at the track and with some aggressive street driving on 17x8 +49 w/215/45/17s in the front so I certainly wouldn't recommend going more aggressive than that with your offsets unless you don't plan on driving the car hard.

If you are planning on a show queen - all bets are off. Run anything you think will look good and bolt up.

I don't see what Batbite has posted that is inaccurate...

I don't think it's inaccurate, but it's conservative.

I was thinking of getting the Work Emotion Cr Kai's in 18's. I know that someone has bought these with the Work recommended offsets for the S2000 but still ended up with problems rubbing.

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...69&hl=kai's

Can anyone help me with what offsets I should be getting and what tires size I would need to get to make it fit without rolling the fenders. Everyone here seems to know their stuff so any help would be appreciated.

I would also like to get information on proper width and offset for
Work Emotion Cr Kai's in 17's.

BTW: Do these 17's clear any BBK?

Thanks
