For those with HRE wheels...
What sizes and offets are your wheels???
What size tires are you running???
I'm thinking of getting either the 547R or 441R and need to know the recommended sizes...

some have run as much as 19", and a few sets are out there at: 18x8.5 in the front and 18x10.5 in the rear. personally, I don't recommend much more than 18x8 and 18x10. if you need help with offsets, fitting, customization, pricing and ordering. let me know and I can help you out.
I just posted on another forum, but I don't know how to link... Anywho, I recently installed a set of HRE445 wheels, 18" 8.5 front, +52 and 10 rear, +62. Pirelli P-Zero Nero tires, 235/35 front, 265/30 rear, weight wheel+tire, 42 pounds front (OEM 40), rear 48 pounds (OEM 42). I've got approximate 2 inch gap (same as stock). I probably going to drop around a half inch or one using the kgmm sport springs when the time comes to replace the stock shocks, but remain on the fence about that...there's not too much room in there.
I live in southern New Hampshire and would show you the car, but it's been stored for the winter. It comes out in May 2003.

i don't have the hre's but i do have the kinesis wheels. Alot of people are getting hosed with good... but less than perfect offsets. PM me and ill get them for you this afternoon. Even my 9.5 inch rear wheels have70+ mm offsets and the fit is very close (but i am running the equivalent of 285 width tires)
I have this setup lowered with kgmm supersport springs and drive very aggresively and have yet to have the wheels rub.
