Default tire pressure recommendation for road trip

So, we're going on a long road trip later this year. We're taking our Honda Ody van. Recommended tire pressures are 33psi front/35psi rear.
The van will be really loaded down with extra cargo. Not sure if I should add a little pressure to offset the extra weight (and maybe pick up a little mpg)? or decrease the pressure to allow for added heat from the long run?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Greater load => increase pressure. Maybe 34-35 front 38-40 rear? Definitely shouldn't lower pressures for greater load...

I always run my pressures 2-3 psi above recommended, particularly when going on road trips with our SUV to assist with extra load.

Read the door jam sticker. Increasing the pressure from that specification won't add to your gross vehicle weight rating. Maximum sidewall pressure will increase tire capacity, but the van's capacity is limited by the suspension, etc.
