Yeah, The fenders sort of flare out a little with the roll. That is a little more but not much.

Thanks for all the input guys. So yeah I think I’m leaning more towards the 235/40 to keep the overall diameter the same at 24.7 or so inches as opposed to 25” on the 225/45 which also may look similar to the 245/40 in the rear as there would be a stretch to it I’ll post a pic of my current front set up which is a 215/45/17 federal 595 which does run somewhat wide which is more like a 225/45.

Might have your sizes mixed up. Just to make sure you know what your pairing with for best match you want. Yes some tires do run narrower or wider then others on a given marked size, but for what ever reason are much more consistent on the overall diameter between brands.

Off the top of my head
215/45=24.7
225/45 = 25.1"
235/40= 23.4"
245/40=24.7"
255/40= 25"

I run 255/40, lowered, with -2.5 degrees of camber with 63mm offsets and the fenders rolled. Would be awfully close to the fender if I only had 45mm offsets like the RPF1's, This is why most do not run those for autox setups in STR. I had an off course excursion into some bumpy grass at 40mph at a practice event and the tire did barely contact the fender lip ... luckilly not enough to cause any real damage.

Depending on your spring rate and ride height, I would shy away from a 255 with 45mm offset wheels. Maybe others have made it work, but it will be VERY close when the suspension compresses.

I am definitely staying away from 255 and 245 fronts. I’m deciding between 225/45 or 235/40 fronts and rear will be 245/40 no tracking or auto crossing just spirited driving

You cant go wrong with wider rubber on the rear of this car, only improvement. I would strongly suggest you move to a 255 if you are going to the trouble of rolling your rear fenders. You have widened the rim .5" over stock and dropped significant rotational weight with the rpf1, now improve the contact patch over stock to get the full spectrum of benefits. Run either the 225 or 235 up front for a good balanced traction bias for any kind of driving you do.

I'd run 225/45 front & 255/40 rear.

Same tire height, fairly easy fender fitment, etc.
