I have been sing the OEM RE 050 tires and I am looking to replcae with a little more aggressive dry handling tire. I, for some reason, am partial to Potenza so was looking at RE 011, and going from 215 front to a 225 and 245 rear to a 255.

I'd go with Dunlop Z1 Star Specs.
Pretty equivalent to the RE-11's, but way cheaper.

Personally I wouldn't go with the Kumhos. Its overall dry performance is about equivalent to the others, but wet performance is way off.

225/45 fronts with 255/40 rears is fine.
You might also consider 215/45 fronts and 255/40 rears (stock CR sizes).
