Default Tire Wear

Changed my diff fluid today and noticed that my back passenger side tire is in worse condition than my drivers side tire. Specifically the inside has practically no tread left where as the outside has probably a 2/10's of an inch. The drivers side looks evenly worn with about as much tread as the outside passenger side.

I need new tires, and obviously a alignment...but is this a sign that something else could be wrong? It's a 2005 with 18,000 miles and it's only been mine since 11,000 miles.

Also, since I need new rear tires, what should I get? I live in Missouri where it gets cold and rainy/snowy and this is my daily driver. I don't want to get Blizzaks or anything that crazy, but is there someone that would be decent in the summer and winter / rain?

Thanks!

stock/factory tires are good put dont last long.. you also wanna check for tire air pressure.. one might be low or has a nail..

maybe you make more left turns than right...or when you turn left you take the turns harder...

Your passenger side rear has too much toe in. You probably hit a nice pothole or something. No damage though, just get an alignment.

I would suggest that you get an alignment and do not allow any fat passengers to ride

I had the same problem. Inside edge on the fronts was worn (alignment). One rear tire was worn more than the other on the inside edge (alignment and tire pressure). I quit checking my tire pressure regularly and allowed one to drop lower than the others. I got what I deserved for being lazy.

Same problem on my '05. At 11k miles, the right rear tire is down to the wear bars and the left rear has what I would call about another 2k miles or so to go on it.

The wear on my rear tires is even though, not the type of wear associated with too much toe or camber it seems.
