TireRack is IT!
I am soo luck to live in South Bend...one of the four Tirerack distribution centers in the country. I needed two rears (decided to get the OEM's...) and...now, don't start hating on me, but I went to a locally owned Firestone dealer just to support local business...and asked if he'd match TR's price...$499 installed....HA! I simply called TR, drove out to the most incredibly huge building I've seen, outside of the Saturn V assembly plant. Within an hour of arriving (the Firestone place would have taken 10-days to order the tires) my tires were mounted and I was driving out happy..total $328.70. (Only gripe are the quarter-inch red and blue circles that are on the tires.) The people and the place were tops.
BTW, after letting the origionals go for as long as I did, I improved my ability to handle the tires sliding out in turns so much (and I'm a RWD guy from wayyy back) that when I took my first sharp turn..acellerating all the way, I almost steereds it into the curb...well, it felt like it anyway...NOW I have an idea what the race car guys say when they get new rubber....
I'm a TR guy for the remainder!
