I ordered the SPTs from Tire Rack two days ago, I will post impressions when I get them.

Please post your opinion of the Kumho SPT. This tire is on top of my list right now for low price, good wet handling, low noise and long tread life. The only thing that I am not 100% sure is how good it is on dry pavement. My guess is it is almost as good as ES100 on dry roads, but better than ES100 in any other aspect.

Thanks in advance.

I've got them on today, so far, it's not bad. I want to let it wear in and break in for a while before I can see the tire's true potential.
By the way, I have the Spoon Sw388s 16x7Fronts and 16x8 Rears. I have the 205/55/16 in the Fronts and 245/50/16 in the rears.

Ill drive around them for a while and keep you guys updated.

I just put a set of Kumho ASX on mine. So far I am impressed with the ride of the tires. I chose this tire mainly becasue I thought it would make a good rain tire choice for local AutoXing.

Kumho ASX is all-season tire. It is very good on wet road and very quiet tire too, I have it on my 20000 Mercedes E430 and I can drive it at more than 80MPH on highway under heavy rain without much drama. But I am not sure about it will be good enough for AutoXing on dry paverment.

I am glad that you are happy with ASX, but for my S I would not get all-season tires unless I drive long distances on highway all the time, which is not the case right now.

They aren't for dry pavement use other than normal driving, just when it's wet for AutoX. I use Kumho 710s otherwise.
