First of all, there is a section for this that's sponsored by The Tire Rack where you'd get more responses. I will tell you though that the idea of Rota wheels on the S is a discussion in itself. I personally have no problem with the wheels...I've had them, they are extremely sturdy (no matter what pictures people might have created) and they are relatively cheap. However people seem to think that because a car like yours was $30,000 you know like, 20 years ago...that you shouldn't be putting wheels like that on your S.

The real point is, it's your car so do what you want. I'm completely for Rota.

I bought some RPF1s after considering various factors.

1) Price - They are relatively cheap for aftermarket wheels

2) Performance - Weighs approx ~3-5lbs lighter per wheel (OEM Ap2 weight in at 17.6 Front and 20.5 Rear). This nets you a weight savings of more than 15lbs in rotational mass. I noticed a pretty drastic difference as soon as I put them on.

3) Looks - Not my first choice but I prefer these over the stock AP2s. I actually like the Rota Torques but function was more of a concern for me than form since the Torques weigh more than OEM wheels.

Since I'm a stickler for function over form, this limited my choices to a few options since I didn't want to spend more than ~$1400 with tires. I guess this is why the ROF1s are so popular here.....

I've had Rota wheels before and would buy them again. They are better than most of the crap you'll find at a local wheel shop.

If I was in your shoes I'd get AP2 wheels.

Sounds like I am on a childrens forum coming from this guy

They are lots of great looking wheels in stock sizes. I personally look in the galley forum and maybe search the type of wheel I am looking for/at for ideas of what it looks like on a s2 and go from there. Good luck with your choices
