TOYO T1S
I am currently using the stock 16 inch rims..
however, i am running low on the back...... and i need some new tires....
I have toyo T1S in mind, cuz i heard its really good....
I am not a big fan of yokohama, cuz i dun really trust it.
Can someone gimme some feedback of T1-S or sth u'd recommend? Also, should i get 245/45/R16 if its available?
Cuz seems like stock S-02s r wider than usual tire..
Thanks

have not heard good things about these tires, especially if you track your car.
s02's were still the preferred tire
i personally have s03's for longer life..

The T1-S seems to be the "Hot" tire by those people who never actually track or autoX their car. I bet anybody who has actually owned and tracked/autoX T1-S and S03s would find the S03 a better compeitive tire. I have the T1-S on my two WRXs and for an autoX tire, they suck. I got them because I heard good things about them too (now I can't wait till I wear them out which will not take much longer). In hindsite, the recommendations came from people with fast street cars or show cars who never actually compete. The T1-S can't handle abuse like the S03s, the sidewall is very soft (requiring extremely high psi to prevent rollover) and their wet and dry grip is not as good as the S03. I will get about 7k street miles and 10 autoX out of my T1-Ss, I got twice that with the S03s. The S02s are the best regular street tire I have used, the S03s come in next, the T1-S are a very comfortable, decent handling street tire but not in the same as the S02/S03. I use RA-1s as my street/track/autoX tire for my S2000 and that is the only streetable tire I have found that is better than the S02 in the dry.
