Also, roll the T1-S's in light dust/dirt, and you'll see just how little touches the pavement.

i will say heated up the toyo is a good tire on the track. it does chunks insanely though. they are really chunks so to speak. but more like little bits of noodles. i had so many people go "whats wrong with your tires" at the hpde when i had just 4500 miles on my toyos!

i really hate these tires. i got them really cheap, and i see why. i havent tried the so-3s but i will say that compared to the avs sports and the so-2s, the toyos arent worth more than 100 bucks a tire. but for free? by all means use them. just be prepared to fear for your life in the rain with more than 5k miles on them. (fyi ive never had any probs in the rain with the so-2s).

 

well its pretty much a mute point now because i am parting out my car because i got an 05M3 with the 19"s which comes with pilot sports... which i will be changing out to S03's after i eat up the first set of sports...
