wheel balancing and tire patches
1) Bought some tires from A Haggai sometime ago. They are 50% used. One of them has a patch patch. I dont believe I should be worried at all, but your thoughts?
2) The rims were in an accident and I had one repaired. Everything is kosher except one that is scraped up pretty bad - well, when they balanced it, there is a LOT of weight on the wheel to balance it out. however.. I remember doing nascar wheels (no joke) and we'd slap lots of weights for those guys to go 150+. sure, I could have suggested/or maybe they tried, to rotate the wheel/tire around to see if it balances out any better, but... I didn't notice it or think it was that big of a deal.
3) wheel weights - these are the stickies, and I know they dont stick forever, wondering if there is a particular type of tape to hold em down, cause I know these will fly off. I'll probably look at homedepot/lowes for high temp tape or something later...but got any thoughts/suggestions?
Thanks!

correct, they didn't do it from the factory, but they also presume that all the owners will not be taking their cars to the track. these will be on the track - so I'll put some heat resistant tape of some sort on them to hold em down. otherwise, it can be problematic, especially on the one wheel - at speed - if they fall off.
