There just isn't enough space to even clear the stock brakes, forget about a BBK. You need at least A disk front, maybe even R disk. You could probably get 80mm lip in the rear but won't be able to put that on the front. It would be compromising lip size in the rear to be able to rotate. You could run 9.5" but with different disk type front/rear to maximize lip, would not be able to rotate tires without dismounting though.

Also, this isn't a light weight wheel and it has a stepped lip which will make 17's look small. I'd be looking at those 9.5" +50 CE28. They are light, look good non-staggered, and have better brake clearance.

S1R would look awesome in 18's though, something like 9.5" front and 11" rear.
Thanks for the thoughts, I plan on doing a few track days a year so the weight is a small problem but it will be mostly used for daily driving. I didn't even think about the stepped lip as a factor, but I guess that's why I haven't seen many 17" on s2000s. I think the 18s would be tough on a stock body especially for the track? I think the ce28 could be an option but I do really like the look of the s1r and its unique. I could do without tire rotation if I can still get a solid sized lip in the front... I just wonder how the 17" would look

It would still look good. You could do something like 9.5" +55 A disk (might need R disk) front and 9.5" +45 O disk rear. It would give the appearance of staggered with around 2" lip front and 3" lip rear while still allowing you to run 255 tires all around. Good luck whatever direction you go, hopefully it helped.

255/35. You should really roll the fenders with these wheel specs.

According to this guide, the CE28s I bought should fit without any rolling. Specs:

17x7.5 +50
17x8.5 +47

I am lowered perhaps an inch or 1 1/2 on the Fortune Auto 500 series coilovers I have. Front camber is -1.2, rear camber is -3.0. I may just roll anyway just to be safe.

The fronts are usually the bigger concern so you can probably have those rolled and leave the rears up it is up to you.

What do you think about:

Front 17/8.5/+40 Rear 17/9.5/+40
Front 17/7.5/+40 Rear 17/8.5/+40 ?

both are TE37

Actually i can't try it before bying. So i want to ask an advice)

Both will require fender roll and the wider pair will need a good amount of negative camber as well.

I've consulted the fitment guide, but before dropping a bunch of cash just looking for a warm fuzzy from the experts..

Ap1 with KW V2 adjustable coilovers. looking to put the following setup:

17x7.5 +48 with 215/45/17
17x8.5 +45 with 245/40/17

Goal is not to have to ever roll my fenders.

Thanks in advance for the inputs.

Jeremy

Hi, I am considering two options.
Front 17x7.5 +48 or 17.x 8 +53
Rear 17x9 +63

Considering 225/255 tires. Which option on the front is better? Stock height and fender. Thanks!
