Wheel Fitment Guide

prodriverex, yeah, those wheels aren't likely to work well on the S2000. The offsets are too low for the width. With a 46 offset in the front a 215 tire might even rub, and that's assuming it was on the correct width wheel. In the rear a +53 offset is workable, with maybe a 255 or 265 tire, but the wheel itself is so wide, it might stick out of the fender, which IMO looks really goofy. But some people like it. (VIP STYLZZZ YO)As far as rubbing, who knows. Again the wheel is so much wider than required for the proper tire. I couldn't predict whether it would fit.
popngear, those wheels should work ok with the OEM tire sizes, but it will be close if you're lowered. It will probably depend somewhat on your alignment. After lowering, did you have it aligned back to factory specs? Or do you have more negative camber than stock?

Well being lowered increases your chances of rubbing. The Guide was written based on data from cars at stock ride height, so you are taking a bit of a risk if you are at the minimum recommended offset.

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me out on this: I have a stock 04 AP2 and I'm trying to get a set of 5Zigen Fn01R-C 17x7 offset 48 front with Falken 452 215/45/17 17x8 offset 43 rear with Falken 452 245/40/17. I know there are not many ppl who have this set of wheels, but will I have any problems such as rubbing, tires wont fit etc. And will this slighty narrow rims affect the handling of the car?
Thank you very much!
BTW does anyone have pics of FN01R-C on a s2k?
Thanks again.

Ha... lol Didn't realize you were just talking about it. Are 17x7 48 17x8 48 the highest offset you can find? Because I checked with many ppl they only have 17x8 43 for the rear lol Anyways, where are you getting the wheels from?

17x7 +48
17x8 +43
Those are the highest offsets available for those sizes unfortunately. I am planning to order from hopupracing.com
I am looking at getting a shop to roll my fenders (don't trust myself) and raising my car slightly when I install the PSS9s i also plan to order very soon.

what's the stock ride height wrt to the tires? 4finger? that's about 2"??
Ok i dun have a proper program to draw.. but allow me to use the excel to show both stock and 19" in comparison..

Ok every 4boxes or cells equals one inch. There are 2 tabs.. one with +53mm offset, i was hoping to fit the Volks GT-S 19" with 265/30 rear. The other tab is a OZ Superleggera with +59mm offset.
The stock size is on the Top Left Corner. I chose those profile tires to keep within rolling distance with the stock.
Do note, these are only for the rear fitting. You can change the view by cutting and clearing the color as you wish but keep the mounting plate position constant.
Eh.. the gray cell was introduced to see how the stock rotor looks like in a 19".. way too puny right?? wahahaha time to go for BBK all round!!
