i was planning on running 17x8.5 all around/. see if i could but i guess i cant =[
Wait a minute ...................... When you say "2 sets", do you mean you have 8 rims? (4 fronts and 4 rears?). I don't see this as a problem. You simply sell one set and use the other set the way they were meant to be used.
On the other hand, if you have 4 rear rims, then yeah, why would you buy 4 rear rims? The centerbore holes in our OEM rear rims are too small to fit over the hub of the front axle.

It was brought to my attention that information regarding the hub size of the S2000 is lacking in this thread and that this information is also of some importance when selecting an aftermarket rim. Hence, I am linking this thread that I did a while ago showing (with pictures), the hub size (and rim centerbore measurement) and the importance of hub centering rings:

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...&f=56&t=378906

ps. I have edited my first reply in this thread to include this new information. I post a separate reply here just to bring this to the attention of those who might be following this thread.

Quick question, I recently purchased an 06, and honestly I can't stand the 06 wheels. I'm going to be purchasing new ones, and I wanted to know if the stock tires can fit on 2 17x7.5 (front) and 2 17x18.5 (rear). All will be +48 offset. No use buying tires when they're basically brand new, so I could just put the stock ones on? And this setup wouldn't be a problem, right? The wheels don't come in 17x7, so I can't go exactly to OEM specs.

OK heres a ?. Im thinking about the Enkei RPF1's. in 17x7.5 x48mm offset front with a 225 and either 17x8.5 40mm or 17x9 35mm with a 255 in the rear. So my ? is could I use the front rims as is with the 225's and not have a problem? As for the rears would adding a 15mm spacer to the rears to give me the 50mm offset needed for the rears work?

Did you read the first post in this thread?

(Hint: your answer is right there, and it's "no.")
