Yeah thats not the liner or the fender. Possible you are rubbing somewhere on the inside or on the coilover? There has to be signs somewhere. Are there signs on the tire anywhere?

What modifications would be needed for a 17x9 wheel +60 mm offset and a 17x9 wheel +62 mm. Both with 255/45 tires. What ride height would be recommended for a lowered setup to fit these wheels on the front. I would prefer not to fender roll, but can the fender tab.

255/45 is the incorrect tire, you should be running 255/40. As far as the specs of the wheels, you should roll, the fenders as a precautionary measure. You gotta pay to play.

He is correct. Wrong tire size. You would want the +62 in the front as there is less room and if you are lowered I do still recommend rolling the front fenders. Rears don't need it with those specs.

Trying to fit some 3 piece Porsche wheels, they are 17x8.5 et 56 and 17x9.5 et 56, would need adapters because they are different lug pattern, so minimum adapter size is 15mm which would bring the wheels to a et 41 front and back, how is that going to fit front and back? I have like -1.7 camber in front and -3.4 in the back as my last alignment said.

Who can advise AP2, no fender mods at all, 17" wheel brand/model/offset that clear the Stoptech BBK and max size tires that don't rub stock fenders front or rear?
So frustrating when I add the Stoptech ST-40/328 Big Brake Kit to my 17" max size shopping decision. Bought car with very nice 18's but want strong, light 17" mostly for track use and I don't want to use spacers. Apparently 17x9 +60 to +63 is the ideal rear size to run 255/40/17 without mods? Then the choice becomes the front to fit over the BBK and what size tires can I get away with? If you have any of the front wheels listed below and don't have fender mods, what size tire are you running?

The variables are killing me. I want to figure out which 17" wheels to get, and the max size tires I can run WITHOUT rolling, pulling or tabbing ANYTHING. I've got adjustable coilovers and might like to try to get lower if I have clearance. After tens of hours on the forums, I've made a list of all the wheels/offsets in 17" that (supposedly) clear the (front) Stoptech BBK, but that doesn't tell me what my max tire size is without mods to bodywork.

So, in the end, am I looking at the following wheels that will clear (supposedly, depending on other's posts). Would have liked to run 255/40/17 all square but it appears I'm going to have to drop off to a stagger. So perhaps 8" wide front and 9" wide back with 225/255 (I have now w/18's) or maybe 235/255 or even 245/255? Can I get it done without fender mods?
-949 Racing 6ulr 17x9 +48
-Advan RZ, RGll 17x9+45
-Advan RS 17x8.5 +50
-AME TM-02 Tradition in 17x9 +54 or 17x9 +44
-BBS LM 17"x8" +40
-Enkei NT03 17x9.5 +44 and +38
-Enkei GTC01 in a 17x9.5 +38
-Enkei RPF1 17x8 +50
-Enkei PF01 17x8.5 +40
-Enkei PF01 17x8 +50 with limited room for wheel weights
-Prodrive GC-07 17x8.5 +54
-Rota Grids 17x9 +42
-Rota Torque 17x 7.5" +45
-Rota DPT RE30 17x9.5 +40
-TSW Nurburgring 17x9 +63mm
-Wedssport tc105n 17x8+32
-wedsport tc105n 17x9 +35 or +49
-Work Emotion XT7 17x8 +42 or +44 (oddly, 17x9 does NOT fit-concave)
- Volk RE30 17x9 +40
-volk racing ce28n 17x9 +40
There is some question about the following, some say they clear and others say they don't:
-Enkei RPF1 17x8 +45 (very, very close, some say no, need spacer).
-volk racing ce28n 17x7.5 +43? Apparently there is a question
-Volk racing TE37s 17x8.5 +40

I'm guessing the consensus choice for lightness, strength are:
Any of the Advans
-Enkei NT03 17x9.5 +44 and +38 (seems to be the Enkei pick for track)
-TSW Nurburgring 17x9 +63mm (what width and offset front for max tire?)
-Any Volks, but questions about clearance
(oh, never mind, there is NEVER any consensus on things like this!)

+60 to +64 offset: 275 tires, 9.0" - 10.0" wide wheel
+65 or higher offset: 285 tires, 9.0" - 10.0" wide wheel
I thought 17x9 +63 wheels with 255/40-17 all around, the SCCA STR configuration, would fit without fender modification. Is that correct?

At stock height yes lowered the fronts may need to be rolled and they can run the inside on the front at full lock.

Hey all,

Did some quick searching around but couldn't really find anything definitive. I'm going to have the following setup in a few weeks time.

Enkei RPF1 17x8 +45 17x9 +45 dropped about an inch on KW V2.

I'm looking at the following tire sizes 215/45/17 in front 245/40/17 in the rear. I'm pretty sure the rear is going to need a roll/tab relo, but my main question is will I need to roll the front?
