Lightbulb Wheel Fitment Help?

Hello,

I'm looking to buy some work cr kais that are 17x7 +47 / 17x8 +47
What tire sizes should I run and I'm guessing I would need to roll my front fenders by a small margin?

Thanks

Hm not a fan of the rear wheels being narrower than OEM ap2 wheels. I would keep looking and try for either 8.5 or 9 inch wide for the rear.

Is the car lowered at all? Will it be lowered in the future? If yes to either of those how much will it be lowered and with what?

Those aren't the most aggressive wheels given they are pretty narrow. At stock height you wouldn't need to mod the fenders. If you lower it you may need to roll the fronts depending on just how much you lower it.
Tire sizes OEM ap2 tire sizes are what'll fit best on those. 215/45/17 front and 245/40/17 rear.

Yeah, plan to lower but he is throwing in 25mm spacers, will that do anything at all?

Dam... you know anything about fenders being rolled and etc. What would that mean for me in the future if I decide to roll my front fenders for these wheels? Would I always have to get the same wheel setup if I decide to roll my fronts?

Rolling gives you more clearance, so it will only make fitment better down the road. If you go back to stock wheels it wont cause any issue, and you really wont even be able to tell the difference looking at it assuming they were rolled properly.

Now if you PULL fenders for some crazy fitment and go back to stock it will likely look pretty dumb, but most people just roll the lips or just the tabs depending on the wheel/tire combo. I run 17X9 +63mm wheels with 255's all the way around. Lowered roughly an inch and have -2.6 degrees of camber. My fenders are rolled and that works fine. I had one incident where I ran off course and hit a big hole and bottomed out the front suspension with the wheel turned and it did barely catch the fender lip. Only slightly tweaked it luckily. But on any sort of normal driving that setup works fine. And when I put the stock wheels on it in the winter, it just looks like a stock S2k as far as the fenders are concerned.

I've been rolling S2000 fenders for like 8 years at this point so yeah I know a thing or 2 about it. You roll the fenders to give more clearance. It isn't easy to undo though and like engifineer said if you pull the crap out of them it does become noticeable. Even with rolled fenders there is a limit to what fits under the OEM bodywork. It doesn't lock you into a specific set of wheels it widens the range of specs that will fit if that makes sense.

My thread on rolling fenders.

I would recommend spending more time researching and understanding things before you run out and buy wheels for this car so you don't end up with something that doesn't fit well or that you aren't happy with and will end up changing later on.

You need to do a lot more research and figure out what sizing actually fits the car and what sort of look you’re after/how that is attained.

No matter what it is you want, 17x7/8 stagger is probably not that and will likely drive worse than stock.
