Default Wheel questions

Can anyone explain in simple terms the advantages/disadvantages of 17 or 18" wheels? Would the speedomoter readings be differant?
Thanks

Stiffer Sidewall from larger rims MAY improve cornering characteristic....You should be able to "feel" the car more when cornering...
With larger rims you would go with lower profile tires..makes for a harsher ride (though I cant tell on normal cruising on my 17s...but on bumpy roads it is very obvious), and more expensive!
Larger rims on stock S2000 height looks too much like trucks IMHO...
Week after i got my 17s i ordered a set of lowering springs to help tidy up...
Odometer will be affected slightly if your new rolling diamater is drastically different from stock...
Also...with larger rims...you should lose some acceleration...
Oh the price to pay for looking cool!
