Default Wheel spacer on OEM (whats the max mm?)

i just bought new wheels and the offset for the front is +48 i want to put a spacer atleast 5mm but i want to know if you can put wheel spacer on stock wheels studs.

and will it be safe with less tread turns?

You will lose over 3 full turns of the lug nuts with 5mm spacers. Personally, I wouldn't risk it. You can get extended wheels studs, but it's not an easy process to change them out.

You need to get longer lugs. You also need to check on how much center bore you have left and make sure the wheels are still going to be hub centric.
