Default Wheels/Tires Sizing (going from 18s to 17s)

Am considering replacing my current setup with a 17s. What specs will I need to get in terms of wheels and tires to get close to my current setup?

Current:
Front: 18x8 +50 with 225/40
Rear: 18x9.5 +55 with 265/35

New?:
Front: 17x8 +50 with 225/??
Rear: 17x9.5 +55 with 265/??

Am I okay with my assumptions for wheels' specs? Would like to stay with 225s and 265s if possible.

And lastly where I can go to for wheels?

Check 1001tires.com they have a nice ratio/comparison for tire sizes, etc.

its a little harder to fit 17s because the sidewall will most likely be taller, 40 series vs 35 series...doesnt give it as much stretch
