Default Wheels for a wide body.

I'm planning to put 17 or 18 on MY02 with a veilside wide rear. I'm looking forward to put wheels with a big lip in the back and almost no lip in the front.
Any suggestions what offset and what brand rims will do so? I'm planning to get Volks, Enkei or bbs.

It would be hard to say for sure. I am not sure how much room you have. If you want more lip you will probably want to be in a 35 to 40mm offset. Somewhere around a 18X9.5 or 18X10 wheel.

ok, i'll trying asking a company who sells rims what rims they have in those sizes.
Well with the veilside rear fender thingy, it sticks like 1" out. Bad thing is, i'm on a island so,very limited if I need to try rims on. So need to get as much info as possible so when I buy them, I wont need to return or change them.
