Heh, yeah. Actually I was hoping to get really good traction with them since there's no tread left, but apparently they've been heat-cycled too many times, as they were REALLY slippery.

hell yea...nice slicks...were you auto x or at the drag strip...did you try and lower the tire pressure

Autocross. I was already down at 28 psi, and the tires were wearing right to the little arrows on the sidewall, so they should have been okay. I even tried a run up at 30 psi just in case the pressure was too low, but it didn't help. I wonder if running slicks at our site is just a bad idea...there tends to be a lot of dust/gravel. Maybe without any tread, the tires just ride on top of that crap...

Depending on the tire, I can't tell what they were The grippy rubber is softer and is usually gone by the time you hit the wear bars.

i figure (havent had much experience with autocross) but slicks would be a bad idea right?...you need tread and grip to run autox and those dont look like they have either...lol....but hey, if your goin to the strip anytime soon, you know what tires to run
