Who's running ASA AR1's?
I was looking into the Black AR1's and I couldn't really find too many pictures from behind the car. There seemed to be mention that the offsets for the rear was a little too low (+48 I think). I just got new tires for my stock AP2 wheels which are 225 in the front and 255 in the back. Most of the threads talking about the AR1's mention to stick with 245 in the back. Are these just way to wide and should I even bother with them? The minimum spec on the sticky was +40.
BTW, I've heard of wheel shops machining down hubs. If I took off 5mm from the back (which one guy has done on here I beleive), that would make the offset a +53 if it was originally a +48 right? I'd like to lower my car about an inch with coilovers eventually. Any comments/suggestions would be appreciated.
Oh, here's the wheel picture:

I have sold mostly the 215/45R17 and 245/40R17. With the offset they will fit better. If I can help let me know.
Thank you,
