will 275/40s fit 9.0in wide (17in) rear wheels such as ce28s? on a non lowered car?

I'm assuming a 17" rim?.............+63 +65 offset's in the rear.........Yes

The 275/40R17 will fit with a high enough offset wheel but I really don't think the car needs that much rear tire. If you go that wide in the rear you would also want to go wider in the front. The other problem with the 275/40R17 is the tire is about 3/4" taller than the OE tires.
