Default Will I rub?

Hey guys,
Wanted to see if anyone has experience w/ these sizes.
I have a 2000 AP1, just bought some TE37s.
Lowered about 1.25 - 1.5 inches (koni shocks and tanabe springs)
The fenders are stock, not rolled.

F: 17x7.5 +48 with 225/45/17

R: 17x8.5 +50 with 245/40/17

I read a bunch of stuff on here, wheel fitment guide, etc, but i wasn't sure if this would be okay for an AP1 w/o rolling the fenders.
Wheel fitment guide on here recommends 215 for +48. Can I do 225?

After hours of research, I decided to go w/ the star specs.
I have them on my AP1 rims, and love them!
And yes, it is a DD, but i do track her about once every other month.
Thanks guys!

It's possible you might rub but some negative camber can fix that. I had 17x7.5 +43 with 215/45 and had no issues with unmodified front fenders. In the rear I had 17x8.5 +40 with 245/40 with a slight roll, bumper shave, and tab relocation. I'm not sure but you might rub in the corner where the rear bumper meets the quarter panel when you hit a dip on the road. I hope someone else can chime in.

you may touch the fender liner on the front on occasion. be careful when going up driveways with untouched fenders because the tires can catch onto the fender tabs and pull them out if you aren't careful!

Awesome, thanks guys!
I did forget to mention, My alignment is just the factory specs.
(although people on this forum mention that the factory range is quite wide)

I was just being cheap, but it sounds like I should roll my fenders..
I thought i'd rather not spend the extra money if i dont need to!
That should take care of all these rubbing issues..

time to go rub one out.. i meant the fenders of course!

you'll most likely be rubbing in the front especially with a 225 tire, but nothing more than a very mild fender roll should fix that and you should be good to go.
