Default Wrong Tires?

Hello everyone,

My name is Logan and I drive a 02 Honda S2000. I just purchased this car 2 months ago after many years of owning 2 Civic, Integra, and Prelude.

The car came with these tires, and I just realized the fronts looked bigger then the rear.

Front - 225/55/16
Rear - 225/50/16

These are the stock wheels BTW. The tread in the front are excellent, the rear are 50%. What should I do? I imagine the previous owner may have rotated them, can I tell which is the rear original wheel?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The S2000 has 2 different hub sizes, the rear wheels (wider) should not be able to be mounted on the front. The rear wheels have a smaller hub bore and are 1" wider, if you take them off the car you should be able to tell. The front tire size should be 205/55.

So if I have 225's both in the front and rear your saying that 225's should have not been able to be installed on the front? I guess what I am aiming for is what would you all do in my situation?

I am saying the rear WHEELS shouldn't be able to fit on the front. It sounds like they mounted 225/55 tires on the front wheels but you need to make certain.

I would move the 225/55 to the rear and the 225/50 to the front but you can't simply rotate as I already mentioned, you need to have them dismounted and remounted. That is the cheapest solution, the other is to buy proper sizes.
