rear to front?
OK....so after over a million words and 15 pages - here goes.
AP1 bought used. tires on it now are Fuzion ZRi 205/55 and 225/50.
Fuzion makes a 245/45 that has almost the same tread width as the OEM S-02's.
the question is this: can I safely put the 225/50 (from the rear) on the front rim? based on my reasearch, the tire will fit. buy 245/45 for the rear. so the NEW setup would be:
225/50-16 front
245/45-16 rear
the revs per mile are only off by 4 revs/mile.
this will give me (for the Fuzion ZRi) almost the same contact patch/tread width as the OEM setup.
yes, I have the spread sheets to confirm my reasearch.
any info would be great.
thanks,

Hey there, it'll work out just fine. The hardest part about the whole ordeal will be explaining this to the tire shop. I'd recommend you draw a diagram of what you want them to do, or else they'll fight you about it saying the wheels widths are staggered..."Yes I know they are, please keep the wheels in the same positions, but put the old rear tires on the..."
I personally like the balance much more with 225/245. Just go easy if it's really wet.

Should work fine. Just have fun trying to explain it to the tire shop!
