Rolling takes someone that knows what they are doing like 30 minutes to do! Nothing to be scared of at all.
Where are you located? I bet there are places close to you that can do it cheap. Check your local s2k forum and see if anyone offers that and can help you out!

Not if done right. They should use a heat gun to make the paint softer and less likely to crack. If you do it make sure to go to a reputable person. Had mine done. I am lowered about 2" with rolled fenders and bumper tabs relocated in the rear and have 17x9+44 all around with zero rubbing.

I'd be much more concerned about "shaving" wheels than rolling the fenders. Stay far away from anyone who wants to do that, just buy the correct sizes to begin with and it won't be an issue. If you want to see wheels that fit, look on Tirerack as they are very conservative with their fitments and will only show wheels that fit without any fender work.

If you are looking for a cheap 5 spoke, I'd recommend the Rota Slipstream. Available in 17 x 7.5"/8.5" in offsets of +45/+48. Link is for reference only, probably should call if you want a staggered set: http://www.urbanimport.com/wheels_ti...slipstream.htm

yea ... uh this wheel "expert" doesn't seem like much of an expert, those sizes will still need an aggressive alignment to fit... There are PLENTY of wheels that will fit closer to stock if that's what you want.

Also, those seem like pretty low quality wheels... I would recommend saving up more money. Or if you let us know your budget we may be able to help. RPF1s are probably quite a bit better than those and not too much more expensive (a lot of people also like ROTAs in that price range). If you have a bigger budget though, you could maybe afford some new or used forged wheels from a reputable brand.

im open to any and all suggestions at this point. getting a little frustrated because I want to keep the staggered wheel and do it right but it seems like every wheel i actually like doesnt come in the staggered fitment or offset that I need. I like the 5 spoke look of the rota but also think a good lip would look bad a$$ in a 9 inch rear wheel which is what was making me lean towards the Raiden wheels I originally posted.

If you just roll the fenders you won't have to worry about it lol. That or just find some high offset wheels made to fit the s2k.
